TOP 3 COUNTRY PARK REVIEWS
Even though the park is within the city, it still feels like an escape to the countryside. And to add to that, it has wonderful amenities that people of all ages can enjoy. Pedal boats, carousel, playground, zipline, carousel, paved bike lane, several picnic shelters of various sizes. It's scenic and highly recommended to anyone visiting the area. Especially if you have some toddlers/young children.
Enjoyable walking paths and clean park. The shaved ice is also very good. The paddle boats are a fun introduction to navigating water with the animal and dragon designed boats. Not a lot of shade so wear sunglasses or hats while on the water. There are a lot of other fun looking activities too. Seems least crowded in the early afternoons on weekdays.
Beautiful and serene. Perfect for so many reasons. Morning walks and meditation, evening scrolls, family gatherings, nature watching and connecting with friends. Easily accessible to the Greensboro Science Center, The Battle Forest Military Park, Lewis Recreation center and there’s a cemetery too but I forgot the name.

TOP 3 GUILFORD COURTHOUSE NATIONAL MILITARY PARK REVIEWS
This historic park is unique. The paved trails are through the woods, with historic monuments and statues along the trail. We didn't get to explore the entire park because my girls were too tired from the other parks we visited prior to stopping here. There are a lot of people walking their dogs here, and I love that!! If I'm in the area, I will come back and explore the entire park. This is the best time of the year to visit. Since there are trees everywhere, the fall Foliage is beautiful!! If you are coming to this park, come in the Fall. I love seeing the colorful leaves fall and all over the ground. It's so beautiful.
Great park with a walking tour and visitor center with well-maintained exhibits. Nice walking trails, too. Visitor center also has a few videos running if you have time for a longer visit. Got the stamp for my national parks passport book! There was also a table with tactile/braille maps of the battle, which was pretty neat.
I really like the experience of visiting the park. It is a great place to walk or hike if you are looking for some calm place to have your own company in between nature.

TOP 3 BUR-MIL PARK REVIEWS
This park provides access to a variety of trails, some paved, with many remote areas for hiking. There are facilities for fishing the lake and lots of walkers and lots of bikes, but it is easy to find a quiet space for contemplation. The colors in the Fall are remarkable , Spring is truly wonderful, and the Summer days up under the pines in the center of the Owl's Roost trail are tranquil and serene. This park has connecting trails to many other popular hikes as well as those contained within the park. Busy weekends, quiet during the week.
This is such a nice place to go to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life, whether you are walking or jogging, hiking or biking, there is so much here to explore. The facilities and trails are well-maintained. The scenery is beautiful, and the wildlife is abundant. I recommend Bur-Mill Park to everyone. I will definitely be going there again!
Bur-Mil park has excellent trails and a variety of volleyball training spaces. Our organization has our end of season parties here and we are big fans of this park.
