“The International Civil Rights Center & Museum is located in the Woolworth Building and was founded by Joseph McNeil, Franklin McCain, David Richmond, and Ezell Blair, Jr. (now known as Jibreel Khazan), four students from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University. Their mission is to preserve the legacy of the A&T Four and other participants of the Woolworth sit-ins and civil rights movement through dynamic exhibitions, education, and special events, which also provide cultural context. The museum offers an extensive schedule of events for individuals of all ages and backgrounds, including workshops, film screenings, lectures, and cultural events.”
