Beautiful location, stunning, lots of green spaces and different areas, very well-kept and clean. It feels great, the park has a place for everyone, calm for some and very hectic for others. I love the lakes with ducks, turtles, and fish in them (I saw a hawk!). If you want to unwind or spend some time with your family or alone yourself, definitely go.
Great park for the family. Bbq everywhere. Water skiing, pedal boats, bicycle rentals and a lot of other things to do. Amazing bicycle trails.

TOP 3 EL PORTAL NATURE TRAIL REVIEWS
Since we moved to this neighborhood walking towards the nature trail is my favorite. Having a nature trail to enjoy in the neighborhood is also great. We walk our dog there and also do our morning exercise routines at the trail.
Nice little trail, but also a shortcut as well. Nicely shaded and usually quiet and relaxing stroll. A lot of dog walkers frequent this path too.
Short little green walk in El Portal. Always enjoy walking the dog there.

So so park. Huge area. Really nice walking/biking trail. But very sparse. Interesting assortment of outdoor exercise equipment. Work in progress. Small parking lot.
