The golf course was originally designed by Bill Watts in 1962 and later updated in 1998 by nationally recognized Golf Course Architect Kipp Schulties. "Costa Del Sol Golf Club is an 18-hole golf course with a driving range and great fairways. This premier golf club is located in Doral, which is 5.3 miles from downtown Hialeah, FL. The course was one of the first designs by ASGCA Architect Robert E. Cupp, who later joined Jack Nicklaus Design as a senior course designer. The course features 6,011 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 72, and the course rating is 70.1, with a slope rating of 124. The club also has a full-service pro shop that can fulfill all of your merchandise needs. Costa Del Sol Golf Clubs are available to rent in the pro shop, courtesy of Cesar’s Golf Rentals. They offer a range of packages to meet your organization's golfing needs. The intimate course is open to the public at affordable prices and provides challenging fairways and numerous water hazards to test players of all skill levels.

“2026 Update: Miami Springs Golf & Country Club is a historic 18-hole, par-71 championship golf course. The course is located 3.9 miles from Hialeah, FL. It is known as one of South Florida’s oldest and most iconic municipal courses. The layout stretches over approximately 6,700 yards and features tree-lined fairways, mature tropical landscaping, and a traditional parkland-style design that challenges golfers of all skill levels. The facility offers a full driving range with night lighting, practice greens, a chipping area, and bunker practice facilities. Players also have access to a well-stocked pro shop, club rentals, and professional instruction. MIAMI LAKES GOLF CLUB REVIEWS

The course itself is excellent. The front 9 is narrow with trees pretty much on both sides, and the back 9 has water everywhere. It felt like I played two courses in one day. There is a lot remodeling going on at the moment, which means no clubhouse/restaurant. It feels like this affects the flow of the drink cart around the course, because I did not see it once during my round. Definitely will be back. This course is worth the price, especially with the Premier Card.

I played the course about 10 times during the 2023 Winter. I also played Biltmore, Emerald Hills, Miccosukee, and others and this is equal to or better. I read reviews that said this is a "warm up" course and that is just laughable. They are in the process of rebuilding so it should be spectacular when it is finished.

Great golf course with very fair greens the Maintence is excellent and the staff is very helpful. One of my favorite places to golf.

Various recent reviews focus on areas the green keepers have clearly addressed (kudos to the staff). Greens are overall no issue at all, relatively consistent (my only request there is that the green staff cut the practice green to the same cut as the greens on the course more accurately). It’s a narrow course but an enjoyable one. Plenty of water to challenge you — accuracy is key. Staff are friendly. Range is small but functional. Worth a try if you’re in the area and looking for some inexpensive golf! Adjusted to 5 stars. The staff here are excellent and very accommodating, the community of regulars/members is friendly and welcoming. The work done to the course is really showing.

If you’re looking for a golf course that’s going to blow your expectations out of the water this isn’t the course for you. However, the staff is amazing and you can tell they’re focused on making the course nicer, so my rating is based on the experience and degree of difficulty (not an easy course).

Had a phenomenal time at Costa Del Sol! The course is challenging and loads of fun. The service was impeccable! Kira made sure to always come around and keep our fluids replenished. Would recommend this course to any Miami golfer.

If I could give a 10 star review I could. Been many times, staff are always dope and nice. The Greens are always well kept and overall, it’s a really nice course. Special shoutout to Kevin the golf director though. Guys an absolute sweetheart. I came in on a Friday afternoon and he totally made my day. Not one to review places usually but he went above and beyond. Highly recommend.

Great place in Miami Springs. The food was great and the service outstanding. We started with mojitos that were delicious. I had the steak special starting with caesar salad, filet mignon perfectly cooked, baked potato and chocolate pie. My husband had the fish and chips. It is a great place to be with friends, enjoy a good meal while listening to great music.

Great place to hang out in nature in the middle of a hectic city. We'll maintained and beautiful space to walk.
