IJAMS NATURE CENTER REVIEWS
Ijams is the perfect little outdoors escape from the city. There are miles of little hiking and biking trails. You can find a lot of cool hidden little spots if you take the time to explore. If you just want to chill it’s a great place to set up and eno by the water. I’m a photographer and I take a lot of family photos here as well. They put on a lot of cool events like movies on the lawn and kayaking clinics, which I intend to take advantage of when I have the time. Can’t recommend this place enough!
Incredibly beautiful. I went on the River trail and was met with nothing but beautiful scenery. Definitely a good place for an easy walk with plenty of rest areas to take in the view. The River trail was about 1.30 miles long.
Great park and hiking trails, the river trail was the best for pictures and enjoy the nature.

FORT DICKERSON PARK TRAIL REVIEWS
This place surprised me. I enjoyed visiting this location. There was no one around, first off. Not a crowded place. I wish there had been a map of the trails so I would know how far they go. The first stop is the overlook of the quarry. Then at the back of the park are picnic tables and the remains of the fort. It didn’t take long to tour the site, but it was still neat to see. I recommend stopping here if you have the chance!
Beautiful view of the quarry, river, abs city! Great fit a small walk with kids or pets. They have picnic tables with shelters. Cannons are there as well. There are placards showcasing the city during this era. Very clean and open. A definite gem of Knoxville! A very enjoyable experience!
Visited from Tampa FL. This park is a must visit. Beautiful and historical. It's perfect for everybody and anybody!!!! Love love love it.

SHARPS RIDGE VETERANS MEMORIAL PARK REVIEWS
Our family had a wonderful hike on this trail - never experienced the 'unsafe' feeling but I know it's a bit secluded. The view of the city is not to be missed! I think Knoxville is wonderful to offer such beautiful trails and everyone needs to get out and USE THEM!
Quick spot to escape from the city life. Surplus of trails to explore and plenty of spots if you’re looking to sit or picnic. Definitely recommend checking it out if you’re looking for a quiet spot to reflect.
Amazing place to trail run. I lost 40lbs with the help of this trail. I ran it a few times a week. Awesome bike trail, recreation, wildlife and views. Pro tip: go before 5:00pm on weekdays to avoid mountain bike riders when running.
