We love this zoo! Great exhibits, very friendly staff, and lots to do! Kids' Cove is a great place for the little kids with a fun, smaller splash area and GREAT sandbox. The larger Splash Pad is really nice with tons of space to play. Exhibits are very well taken care of, and they are very well laid out. To get from one side of the zoo to the other is a good walk, and there are play spaces well spread throughout. Great zoo and even on busy days it does not feel crowded. Overall awesome!

This is such a beautiful place to take a stroll and center yourself. It's also great for sparking children's imagination. There are stone structures that are great for photos and for play and a bamboo forest and just lots of perfectly manicured areas. I believe there is space for weddings and receptions as well. Very chic indeed!

I love the KMA! First - know that it's ALWAYS FREE. So if you're downtown without an agenda or some time to kill, what can you lose by strolling through? I bet you will find something that intrigues you. The building itself is lovely. There are a few permanent exhibits, a huge semi-new installation exhibit downstairs, and rotating features to the gallery on the right. The KMA also hosts events throughout the year like jazz and wine shindigs, and most recently hosted some of my favorite.
