Used to hike pinnacle mountain as a kid all the time when my family and I lived in little rock. Now we only get to come when we visit our family once a year or so. I've been hiking this for almost 20 years now and it's still just as beautiful. It's a little flooded right now so the main entrance up is inaccessible but there is an alternate trail. Since the sun sets early, I recommend you start heading down no later than 4:15ish so you don't have to hike in the dark. The park technically closes a

3.7 mile moderately trafficked loop trail located near Little Rock, AR

Beautiful walking trails. I have seen some cyclists through there but there are a lot of rocks and tree roots, so it would be a bumpy ride for sure if you tried that. Also, I wouldn't try to to go for a run there. You could easily trip if you weren't watching the ground closely. There are plenty of birds, squirrels, and I've even seen a chipmunk! Great photography opportunities.

This is a good place to go walking through an Arkansas pine forest. It connects with the trail along the south bank of the Arkansas River on east to downtown Little Rock, and also to the trail west to Pinnacle State Park. This part of the route is several miles of paved walking and biking trails. Be on the look out for the bikes as it is a popular route and is often used by commuters.
