This 2,088-acre area is known as the "jewel of the National Wildlife Refuge System" because the refuge is situated directly in the heart of all this biological richness. The elevation gain of the trail is 3 to 15 meters. The trail allows travelers to witness numerous birds, butterflies, and many other species. The primary attractions of the refuge are the cool tower and suspension bridge. Santa Ana National Wildlife Refuge also has a selection of trails with different distances from which visitors can choose. The trail also ensures numerous amenities like public restrooms and picnic tables for the comfort of visitors.”
