Spring Creek Nature Area is an ideal destination to have a relaxed time with friends and family. This nature area ensures 3.1 kilometers of trail with an elevation gain of 5 meters. The trail takes approximately 33 minutes to complete. The trail covers 100 acres of hardwood woodland situated south of the CityLine development. The SCNA was made possible in 1991 when the Margaret Hunt Hill family donated 51 acres of land. In 2015, the City of Richardson purchased four neighboring properties from the Hunt Hill family, doubling the size of the SCNA. The trail is home to SCNA's 3/4-mile Perimeter Trail, and rest areas can be found along the way. The trail also offers a peaceful escape and a great opportunity to view urban wildlife in its natural habitat.
