Rockwood Park is a 160-acre park that includes a nature center and a 5.5-mile long system of trails. It is one of the great places to exercise with friendly staff and other people enjoying the park. You can see the trails behind the nature center, and it has two paths that are paved and wheelchair accessible. Visitors can see the Woodpeckers, hawks, and several songbirds along the trails. Trails are well maintained with shelters that can be rented/reserved for a variety of needs. They have a water supply for animals and poop bags. Visitors can do their hiking, walking, and biking in this park. Rockwood Park is open even on weekends.

Bryan Park is also known as Joseph Bryan Park. It is located in Richmond, Virginia. It has a disc golf course, several festivals and activities take place nearby. Visitors can enjoy the wonders of a pleasant walk with your pet and learn to be your dog's advocate when you show them to the entire world. There are miles of both paved and off-road roads, so you can pick the style of run that suits you. Bryan Park has biking paths, tables, and several places to stroll, ride, and play. It also has quality soccer fields, and it's an excellent spot for dogs. The park Trails is a 2-mile loop trail that is highly trafficked near Richmond. Bryan Park offers free entry for visitors.

Forest Hill Park is one of the popular public meeting areas in Richmond. The park boasts a newly restored lake and a network of more than 3 miles of multipurpose trails providing connections to nearby communities and the James River. It is a popular and historic 105-acre urban park modeled on Scottish links and retained its popularity as one of the most challenging golf courses. Its curving hills are famous for winter sledding, and a farmer's market is held in the park on Saturday mornings during the summer months. Forest Hill Park also features picnic benches, a playground, lots of grass and trees. It has been home to the South of the James Market, a farmer's market held on Saturdays from 8 am to 1 pm.
