ROCKWOOD PARK REVIEWS
My husband and I love this park so many options that they have for outdoor activities. We love that they have a 1.5 mile trail that is paved so we can take out son in the stroller. They have several volleyball pits, ball courts, sports fields, q small dog park, and a play ground for little ones in the middle. We go here alot because there are so many pokemon spots for us to walk and play for hours.
Great place to play some sports with the family or just go outdoors and have a quiet peaceful stroll through the woods. A fun park with lots of activities.
What a wonderful place for adults and children! The ice cream truck always around, and my son loves the playground, trails, the picnic tables, all of it! The huge sandbox, and we loved the dog park there. My son loves to watch the dogs playing! I grew up withy mom taking me there, and it's wonderful to be able to still take my son to my lifelong favorite park for kids!

BRYAN PARK REVIEWS
Lots of park family activities with walkers, birders, bikers, disc golf, and playground families, and dog walkers. People stopped to thank us for picking up litter. This would be a 5 star if the restrooms were rebuilt as promised years ago and the city did regularly schedule trash pickup and landscape maintenance.
Very good walking experience, excellent for the farmers market & athletic events, Frisbee golf makes this venue stand out. Just eclipsed within Richmond by a few more varied/scenic walking options, specifically Forest Hill, Maymont & Belle Isle & surrounding trails.
Still my favorite park in Richmond near my house. Woods and water and mostly wild growth areas are great for resident and migratory birds. Lots to do else with disc golf, large soccer fields and jogging and walking trails. Go there.

FOREST HILL PARK REVIEWS
Gorgeous park. I was visiting Richmond and this was on one of the attractions list and it makes total sense. It’s huge and there are so many areas to walk, sit around, take pictures, run, work out, see nature, or there were a couple of people rock climbing. There were some turtles in the water when we went which was so cute! The walkways were very wide and had space for multiple parties to share the road. There’s a lot of elevation which makes for a great run or bike ride. There are also some flat areas.
It's a really nice park and the trails are great. The little gazebo down by the lake was being used for all kinds of holiday and family pictures today. There's also some great geocaching adventure here. I visited in December, but it was 70° and there were people everywhere enjoying the park.
This place is a perfect place to go if you want to have a BBQ with friends or family while enjoying a walk through a nature trail. Be there nice and early if you want to be able to get a canopy where there are benches , picnic tables and lots of shade. Be sure to bring your own charcoal and lighter fluid as well as bags for trash and don't forget to bring your own toilet paper just in case you need to use the bathroom. They do have a bathroom and it's best to go in a buddy system so one can stand watch while the other uses the bathroom. There are lights lighting the trail for when it starts to get dark but park closes at 9:00 p.m. lots of parking available.
