3 Best Hiking Trails in Sioux Falls, SD

Beautiful, and so unspoiled. I visited on a still sunny fall day and regaled in taking the brief hike up and around and down the ski hill. I will definitely come back.

We had a great time snow tubing and skiing at Great Bear. The lodge was warm and cozy and it was a good place to rest and get out of the extreme cold that day.

We had a lovely walk on the paved trail and the sound of running water by the trail was very pleasant. I appreciate the full map showing the full length of the trail that goes around Sioux Falls. It looks to be about 20 miles so it might be great for a bike ride. This park was very nice but doesn't have many trees by the path for shade and a few picnic tables or a pavilion would really go a long way. The part I found the most neat was the bike repair station by the bathrooms. It was so cool to see and very encouraging.

It was a nice place to get on the bike trail and had clean bathrooms. The path was kept up well. We biked on one side of the river and then crossed over to the other side and went by the backside of the zoo. It was pretty neat.

I walk down here all the time and it is really cool and bussin'. Very sandy and a lot of people decide to camp down here so there are a lot of cool wood hut things. The sand is very nice to touch to the feet. The pavement isn't very adventurous but I get lost anyways. Wow, I think legacy park is like the coolest place. There's a dollar general right next door and I believe the bike path runs through the park. It needs benches because I went to eat here but I sat on the bridge instead. One time I saw a plate of half eaten meat sitting by the river, it had been sitting there for several days and it had rained.
