TOP 3 ESTRELLA MOUNTAIN REGIONAL PARK REVIEWS
Great place to hike, but unfortunately, we didn't wear the right shoes. Regardless, we found the easy trails to walk on. Trails were easy to walk, well marked. It does cost $7 at the gate, but this park is huge. Lots of restrooms available, it appears overnight camping is available for trailers and RV. The park is dog friendly, and the lady at the gate gave him a treat when we paid. Lots of covered areas with picnic tables.
Happy to see Estrella growing in beautiful ways. I’ve enjoyed the trails and the Camp Hosts have been nothing short of amazing. It’s always great to see their friendly smiling faces. Hope Estrella with have camping in the future. It has so many wonderful trails to explore. It’s definitely a hidden gem I enjoy spending time at. The park is always clean and well cared for. Even by trail crews out working hard.
It’s a beautiful park. Went midday on a Wednesday and it was not crowded. We had the Gila Trail to ourselves. It’s super easy and flat the entire trail. Perfect for a beginner. Look forward to exploring more trails there this years.

TOP 3 WHITE TANK MOUNTAIN REGIONAL PARK REVIEWS
There are many trails to choose from, but the one we chose was the waterfall trail, crossing our fingers that there had been enough rain the couple days prior. The trail is pretty short being .8 mile each way and very easy hiking. There are many rocks with petroglyphs to see along the way and a side trail called "the long loop" you can take out into the valley. We reached the top and were disappointed as there was no waterfall, only a small pond area at the base where waterfall would normally be. It was still very beautiful and we had a great time, but I would definitely recommend to visit when the waterfall is flowing! I also recommend the side long loop trail as it is very neat with beautiful photo ops.
We did the Waterfall trail. It’s a great trail. Paved part of the way. There wasn’t any water under the main falls, but we climbed up a ledge and found purple water! It was a fun surprise. I have no idea why it’s purple. We saw quite a few lizards and a really small snake. The petroglyphs are very cool as well.
Beautiful park! We did the Waterfall trail, it’s very popular. We didn’t see a waterfall while we were there, apparently you only see it after a heavy rain. But the views were still amazing. It’s an easy trail for a beginner.
