"Greenfield Park is a perfect space for a diverse range of recreational activities such as hiking, biking, boating, and more. This is a 3.9-mile loop trail with an elevation gain of 39 feet. This loop-type trail is generally considered an easy route and takes 1 hour to complete. The trail is easy to walk and navigate, suitable for all skill levels. This nature area also offers views of the lake, cypress trees, and opportunities for wildlife viewing. The park features numerous facilities such as picnic tables, a skateboarding area, slides, public restrooms, a tennis court, kid-friendly hikes, and a playground, ensuring the comfort of visitors. Greenfield Park also has designated areas for dogs.

2026 Update: Greenfield Park covers 250 acres with trails around Greenfield Lake and includes a 4.8-mile paved path for walking and biking. It also offers recreational facilities such as pickleball courts, a skate park, and an outdoor amphitheater, along with boat and kayak rentals. Additional amenities include playgrounds designed for different age groups and abilities, picnic shelters, restroom facilities, and water fountains. An accessible fishing dock is available for visitors. The area also serves as a year-round bird habitat within an urban setting in Wilmington. The site includes a boat ramp that allows visitors to launch boats, canoes, and kayaks."
