BLUETHENTHAL WILDFLOWER PRESERVE REVIEWS
Love this little spot on campus! A lovely space to go and enjoy the woodland experience without being too far away from everything. Love sitting by the pond and watching the sun go down through the trees. Still haven't seen the whole woods yet, such a nice spot!
Beautiful nature preserve on the campus of UNCW. Free parking nearby in lot M (parking lot with a gatehouse). A couple of trails and usually very peaceful.
This place is great for a short walk. We had about an hour to spare. Perfect path for bikes. There are a pond and plenty of fresh air. This is one of my favorite walking trails

SUMMER REST TRAIL REVIEWS
This is the historical location of a waterfront restaurant called Trails End, hence the name. The locals hate that it was taken by the county and turned into a park.
This is a breathtakingly beautiful area on the mainland side of the I.C. Waterway near Wrightsville Beach, N C. The few homes near here are big and beautiful.
Perfect shaded paved trail wheelchair accessible kind of..the exit is a little steep.

JAMES E.L. WADE PARK REVIEWS
This is a nice neighborhood park. It is relatively small, but it does have bathrooms, water fountain, playground, and about 1/2 mile paved walking trail. There is also a bridge in the middle to take you across a pond. There are signs around explaining what types of things live in this environment. Parking is limited but it's the right amount of spaces for the size of the park. Good place to go for a short stroll!
Great little park for kids to play and walk ride bikes in the area that say form off the Millbrook area. It's the flat area shaded and nice place to walk for kids or for seniors
