A favorite park of ours. Beautiful with a great, large playground, lots of parking, a pond to walk or ride your bike around. The pond has a dock you can fish from. There are tons of turtles and ducks. A sand volleyball court makes for a great sandbox, with bathrooms (open during summer) and water fountains behind it. There is a giant covered pavilion with a lot of picnic tables. You can rent out too through the city of Plano. There are many trails, paved and some unpaved. Beautiful scenery all around and even connects to oak point nature trails. Lots of open area to picnic and relax in.
This park is not too big. Has ample parking spaces, a fun playground for kids, covered area for doing events. The trail around the lake is not too long so good for a quick stroll. There are ducks and other birds around to watch. Also has drinking water fountain and restroom. Even though it was sunny and hot, cool breeze was pleasant!
Great, clean lake with sidewalk walking trails around the lake. Has a big playground for bigger and smaller kids, pavilion, bathrooms. I recommend entering through the neighbor (going toward the school) because you cannot park and enter from the street. Favorite park to stop by!
