My wife and I walk this trail several times a week. The wildlife is always a pleasant focal point to the daily trips. Keep an eye out for turtles during the warmer days, and sometimes, if you're lucky, you may see an otter! The birds, especially during this time of year are phenomenal! Now that the train trestle upgrade has been completed, the overall experience has been much better than before when crossing under the railroad tracks, which also add a fun experience to the walk if you're lucky enough to be near when a train crosses.
Short, paved, and easy trail, intimate any time of day. Catch a moonrise there if you can someday.....Nice to see families, singles and lovers out enjoying nature. The birds and turtle viewing is worth it in itself. Always a rejuvenating walk, or bike ride. I have photographed every season and even caught a heard of sheep grazing this early Spring. Every walk is so magical for me. Never know what nature has in store!
Decent trail. Would've walked longer but it got late. Starting earlier next time to walk through the entire trail. Railroad track was cool. Realized trains are quieter than i thought. Didn't know one was comin until it got to the bridge. Crazy
