Beautiful place to walk and just take a leisurely stroll. The boardwalk is magnificent but there are a few boards that are raised so just be careful. One lady tripped and face planted right in front of me. Quite a few people on the trail all enjoying the scenery. It was a beautiful sunny day 65° perfect weather! Some people obviously don’t read signs because there was one couple that had a dog. Another lady had a dog laying over the middle of the trail. I had to stop and wait for her to have him get up. There’s always one in every crowd!
So far the best trail, long, water front view and sitting. Educational information along the way. You could also view how nature reacts after a storm like Ian hits. No view of animals or birds but the noise of the forest is unbelievable.
Nice hiking trail, me and the family enjoyed it! Saw otters, tree crabs, herons, lizards, crabs, and even a tortoise! Awesome place will definitely come back!
