This is a beautiful place to go hiking. Absolute gem that is tucked away from the main road. Be sure to hike near the river, it’s really beautiful and there are cool signs that show you all the various environmental preservation strategies that the local community has used to keep the place looking great. Really enjoyed this place.
My favorite local park. Enough to get away while still being close. Can choose between entry-level trails and medium hiking. Hills vs river. Parking in both Greenwich and Stamford. Stamford parking is is bit better suited for exploration in my opinion. Check out their online map before you go!
Easy hikes. Beautiful in the fall and winter! Limited parking, so recommend only going early in the day before 830am. Only downside is people don’t wear masks and it’s concerning on the paths that are narrow.
