Enjoyed hiking in the park. You can see quite a bit of scenery just on short hikes near the parking lot area at the end of Garin Ave. Dry Creek was flowing well when we were there and the hills were very green. Jordan pond is a nice scenic spot. The visitors center is a historic barn and had some old farming equipment around the entrance. Trail signs are limited so it may help downloading a map of the area to make sure you can track where you are (we had no cell service on the trails).
We hiked the Garin Peak trail, it was a great hiking trail, very well maintained, with visible signs to find your way through. There are cattle roaming around, it was so green this time of the year, with great views of the bay. There was plenty of parking available, with a fee of $5. There are also grills and picnic table available at the park. Highly recommmed it! Would come back for exploring more trails.
This is a Hidden gem! We took High Ridge Loop Trail and it offers amazing valley views. A perfect place to take a sunset walk if you are near this park. This trail gets steep once you hike up but overall worth it to see the great views. There are many other trails around this park as well. All trails are well marked.
