“Cannery Park is a beautiful and compact neighborhood facility with complex climbing structures and a splash playground area. The park’s main attraction is the lovely splash pad. Cannery Park has extensive playing fields with many geese, barbecues, picnic tables, and a basketball court. The park has a large open region to run, sit, and relax, three playgrounds for the kids, a running trail, and plenty of picnic tables with grills and decent parking. Cannery Park has barbecues, basketball, an open lawn area, and a snack bar. The park has an outdoor fitness station and ADA access. There is plenty of outdoor space for people to have fun. The park also offers free parking options.”

KENNEDY PARK REVIEWS

I have to say Kennedy Park has always been THE park to visit for children in Hayward. Love the improvements and amenities. Miss the goats and petting zoo but I guess it was just too expensive to maintain. Great playground for kids of all ages. Even a merry go round and train. Clean restrooms.

Amazing ambiance..you’ll find families, Latin music, chihuahuas everywhere and carne asada vibes great time. We visited for Easter my friends invited us and had Easter eggs for the kids and they enjoyed playing soccer as well ! we all had a blast. Great place for bday parties and cookouts in the heart of the bay.

Juneteenth weekend was a blast. Miss had a great time in farmland Park playground. There were able to run all over the park plus rife the train, go dizzy riding in the teacups and if the carousel was open we would do that also.

Love the inclusiveness of these types of parks. The park is gated which is great for safety. The children loved exploring all the different areas. Small climbing wall the the Sulphur Creek part of the park. An area for toddlers with slides and teetering animals. Reading area with Little Library's. Good place to drop off children's books you might be done with. Although built for children with disabilities there is plenty to do for able body children. Safe soft ground for falls. Kids loved all the different types of swings. Fancy automated bathrooms outside the gated part of the park. There are a couple tables inside the park. Don't miss the explanation of the park at the entrance. All parking right in front require disability placards.

This place is perfect for the young and old. Well maybe the in between too .This park is not only colorful and vibrantly teaming with voices of the youth but it's ambience it's beautiful and amazing. Located within the park are customized playground accessories. Slides swings and a work out area, to get the blood flowing. The best addition to the park in my opinion. Has to be the skate park which offers a different feel. It has the bowls, one you didn't have to drop into and a crazy bank street course. On the side it's a new pump track!! You will love shooting around the course but beware your legs will cry the next day.

Beautiful park with lot of play amenities for kids. Wonderfully maintained and designed. My kid enjoyed every second of being there and is excited when I ask him if he wants to go again.

CANNERY PARK REVIEWS

Great park has some grills, benches, and terrace on the Northside. Plenty of open space/grass for soccer pickup or whatever. Bathrooms near baseball fields and playgrounds and usually at least one of them is open. Been coming here for years and still a pretty great place.

Beautiful marble ledges, nice round coping along the edges, ample parking, and a lovely community. Whether beginner or advanced, this small park turned mini skatepark has something for skaters of any level.

The park is nice and clean, both the play structure and water area are small. The play structure was for older kids rather than toddlers . The park also has a skateboard, basketball, and baseball area. There are also picnic tables and not sure if there were grills out.
