Depends on what he does to my hair. Jim is an excellent hair dresser/ barber/ colorist etc. wherever I'm located I always find myself right back in his chair. I will stay loyal to Jim. Very reasonable in pricing. He won't do a cut that will not look good on you. Very honest person. Good man! High five Jim! It's me Cathy.

Great service and friendly staff; especially the owner, Jim! Been coming to him with my Husband David since late 1990's. I even tried going to other salons over the years, only because Jim's gets so busy, yet I always come back.

I recently visited Jim's Hair Salon and had a great experience. The staff is always friendly and welcoming. The lady who attended me listened carefully to my requests and delivered exactly what I wanted Price was very reasonable given the quality of work. Overall, I'd definitely recommend Jim's to anyone looking for a reliable and talented, and affordable hair salon professional.

My experience with the service and staff is exceptionally great. I appreciate how knowledgeable Minnie is and trust that she knows what is good for my hair and how to get the best results whether it's balayage, baby highlights, or full color change, etc. She is beyond talented and highly skilled. I have always been pleased with the Kerastase products that she carries in the salon and enjoy the benefits that come with using their line especially since they cater to colored hair treatment. I noticed that the color stays true and rarely fades before my next appointment. The tools that she uses are top of the line (e.g. custom scissors and Dyson hair accessories). She is busy so I make sure to book my next appointment with her at check out. The interior is kept clean and organized. The location has plenty of parking nearby.

Minnie is a true professional. I am very happy with the result and getting many compliments. I will definitely be a repeat customer. Thank you for making it a wonderful and enjoyable experience.

We love this salon. My daughter only wants to get her hair done here because she trusts they will do it beautifully and not fry her hair in the process. Well done Minnie! Lauren looks great.

Lynn cut my hair for almost the entire time I was in Hayward and I’d even drive from San Leandro or swing by after work when I needed a quick cut. She and her husband are always friendly, efficient, and do a wonderful job. I don’t think I ever waited more than 15-20 minutes as a walk in every time.

I’ve been cutting my hair at their place for over five years. Love the service. love the attention to details and love how they care about each and every customer.

I love it here! The owner is so nice. Also, parking is in the back of the business. Today was my first time here! I would definitely come back again. The price is also good.
