“ Ballet Petit provides classical ballet instruction for all ages. Peggy Peabody is the Artistic Director and founder of the studio. She also performed in Lido Ballet School productions, Regional Festivals of Dance, and more. Peggy Peabody is honored with the prestigious Women’s Hall of Fame award for Arts and Culture. She believes that the dancers and the parents can accomplish great things together. All of their staff are highly experienced and former professional dancers. Ballet Petit enjoys a growing roster of over 150 students of all ages and abilities. They have a state-of-the-art facility with 15,000 square feet. Ballet Petit’s 35th anniversary Nutcracker in 2013 counted nearly 300 dancers in over 450 costumes. The studio was created to provide a variety of dance classes to their local community. All of their students also participate in the annual performance programs. Ballet Petit also has a Spring Concert production each year for an additional stage opportunity for the dancers. ”

My wife and I started at Arthur Murray because we wanted to choreograph our first dance for our wedding. From day one, the staff at Arthur Murray treated us like family. Our teacher Amariah is an absolute Gem. We aren't trained dancers and Amariah had so much patience and gave so much love and support through the whole process. Our wedding was in June 2023 and we have continued to be students at Arthur Murray with weekly scheduled lessons with our fav teacher Amariah. 10/10 recommend coming to Arthur Murray whether for your wedding dance, or learning social dances to use at the club, you decide which direction you want to go and the staff at Arthur Murray will lead the way. My whole family is taking lessons at the Arthur Murray Hayward location for about 2 months already and since the very first time I walked into the studio I felt welcome. The staff is awesome, always with good attitude and full of positive energy, the teachers are professional, talented and supporting!!. Every time I leave the studio is with a big smile on my face. Great place to learn how to dance.

A great hip hop dance studio in the East Bay! I've been dancing with re.DEFINE since 2018 and it feels like a second home. Everyone is incredibly kind, caring, and supportive. The studio doesn't feel like some other studios where there is a lot of pressure and judgement. I LOVE that it's mostly a hip hop focused studio -- definitely not something you get everywhere. And if I had kids, I would love to bring them to the kids classes offered here with some awesome teachers! The owners, Mappy and Margela are so nice and helpful.

5 stars Everything is great! Teachers, students and the place itself (studios) My daughter loves going/ attending classes here than her previous one. More power reDefine.

Good vibes! Great culture! Weekly classes. They provide great training for dancing. Also family friendly attitude.

We moved to Hayward this year, and were completely welcomed to a family-friendly community with the addition of Ballet Petit! My daughter, who is 3 years old, started her first set of classes and could not wait to go back every week. Recently, she participated in her first studio production of Sleeping Beauty, performed at Chabot College, and the pre- to post- production was the best experience my family could be involved in. The director, Peggy, is committed to flourishing the studio, and always has resources available in the studio for clothing and intense workshops. We can’t wait for the many years of engagement with Ballet Petit.

My daughter Jaylene loves this place especially her teacher Miss Reagan who seems to care for her students. I met the owner Miss Peggy and she truly has made her dream come true with her new location. i loved how down to earth she is and the passion and dedication for ballet ever since she was six years old. My daughter & I felt welcome, and I would definitely recommend Ballet Petit. Thank you & i hope to see my daughter perform by the end of the year The Nutcracker.

This studio became our home and family. It has great training and everyone became like our own family. The shows are beyond believable. The most important thing is the students learn to dance and move and not just stand at a bar. The things they learned here my children carried to college and thanked me for this training.
