Cascade Springs Nature Preserve is a 120-acre green area located in Atlanta. This nature preserve has a wide network of trails, a tumbling waterfall, and trickling springs feeding the park's many streams. The trail is a 2.6-mile loop with an elevation gain of 160 feet. The hilly forest is a sanctuary for the city and home to wildlife, including deer, birds, and tortoises. The hike enters a side trail at 55 miles, turning in a boulder-studded forest to ascend and wind through switchbacks to the left of the main trail. The trail meets a moss-covered, historic stone-and-mortar springhouse over a trickling spring, turning right to hike a paved trail to the east. Visitors can find ruins of a pump station, a stone spring house covered with moss, an outdoor auditorium, Civil War trenches, a quarry, and ample wildlife. Cascade Springs Nature Preserve has a waterfall, streams, parking, and picnic tables. There are many loops to make the hike as long as you want. It's easy to forget you're in a concrete-covered city while exploring this beautiful nature preserve in Atlanta.

Murphey Candler Park is 135 acres of multi-use park located in Atlanta. The trail is a loop type with a total length of 1.5 miles. The elevation gain of the track is 42 feet. This park is the largest in Brookhaven and is currently operated by the City of Brookhaven Parks and Recreation Department. You can enjoy the view over the lake filled with wildlife while listening to outdoor music in the nearby community. Murphey Candler Park provides a mix of in-town community buzz, views of the lake, and wooded trails. The trail is a short 1.6-mile loop offering a clear view of the entire lake. You can cross the covered bridge to the main parking area to view the lake. The park provides baseball, softball, and soccer programs throughout the region. Murphey Candler Park is also home to Canadian geese, mallards, other ducks, and beavers.

The trail's total length is 1.6 miles, with an elevation gain of 154 feet. The trail has an elevation gain of 154 feet and is a loop-type track. There are about 2 miles of trails on both sides of the stream. Morningside Nature Preserve is a secret and well-loved network of biking and running trails traversing more than 30 acres of rolling woodland. The preserve provides a beautiful forest retreat from Atlanta's surrounding urban landscape. The path leaves the wooded forest and reaches a clearing with a small path marker at points of 25 miles. The forested tract has a trail for running, hiking, and biking and a scenic creek. There is a creek and a beach area where visitors let their dogs play.
