This place is absolutely fantastic. Not to mention that it’s massive. There is a beautiful lake and several streams you can find along the forest. If you like hiking, there are plenty of trails that you can take and some of them lead to the summit of Mt Tom. They are also picnic areas and restrooms that are accessible to anybody. This place is also mostly wheelchair friendly. Had a fantastic time using my camera to take some amazing photos. 10 out of 10 recommend coming here.
Easy hike with an amazing view. Quite an awesome find if you are in the area. Easy as in the length of the overall trail I went on, but parts of it were steep. So be careful when attempting the hike. The view is wonderful especially in the fall. Gorgeous colors.
Mount Tom is an absolutely incredible place to go hiking. I highly recommended it. There's enough trails here that you can come multiple times and have a number of different experiences depending on the type of terain that you prefer to hike on.
