Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame is dedicated to preserving, promoting, and celebrating the game of basketball at every level. The museum has more than 400 inductees and 40,000 square feet of basketball history. The museum serves as basketball's most complete library and also promotes and preserves the history of basketball. The museum recognizes, honors, and celebrates the achievements of its greatest players, coaches, and contributors. Nearly 200,000 people visit the museum each year to experience the interactive exhibits, learn about the game, and test their skills on the Jerry Colangelo "Court of Dreams." The Hall of Fame is best known for its annual marquee Enshrinement Ceremony honoring the game's elite. Springfield Armory National Historic Site is formally known as the United States Armory and Arsenal for creative engineering and superior firearms.
