My son and I visited for the first time on Spring break. This is one of the coolest places I have ever been. My 14 year old son was in basketball bliss. There are so many cool exhibits and memorabilia from the history of the game. The court is open to shoot on and has a progressive baskets and rims from over the years. The staff was really good as well. Friendly, knowledgeable and fun to chat with. The best part was it was virtually empty the 2 days we were here. Definitely awesome.

I have been to this museum complex many times. It is a must see when out of town friends come to visit. As a 3rd generation motorcyclist, I enjoy the Indian Motocycle area, as well as the other mechanical areas featuring GEEBEE Racer airplanes as well as earlier Daimler Benz vehicles. As a Springfield native, I am well aware of Theodore Geisel, aka Dr Seuss. Thre is a wonderful section set u0p to honor him and explain his background.

This zoo had it all! They presently have an exposition on Australia. My grandsons saw a hopping kangaroo as well as many other wonderful animal of different species. When we were finished seeing the animals, my 3 year rode a small train while the 5 year old played on the nearby playground. After that we enjoyed watching them play at the city sponsored water park just a bit away on the same grounds. It was a wonderful day for all of us!
