TOP 3 NAISMITH BASKETBALL HALL OF FAME REVIEWS
This place was great. I feel like it was really geared toward kids but still great for adults too. The place isn't as big as i thought it would be, but there's a lot of interactive things throughout the museum. There's basketballs with imprints of players hands so you can compare your hand to theirs. They also have life size cut outs to stand next to and feel really tiny. lol. The Kobe exhibit was nice to see and worth it if your a Kobe fan. The bottom level was a huge free for all basketball court, with a full size court and areas for dunking, and for the smaller kids. All in all it was a great experience and would go back in a few years when they have new inductees.
Had a blast at the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame in Springfield, Massachusetts, with my husband and our 15-year-old basketball-loving son. We drove an hour and a half to visit, and it was super easy to find, right off the highway. Minimal traffic and parking in the parking garage was a breeze, and it was free! Paid in the lobby and got our wristbands - absolutely no need to buy tickets in advance online, but that is an option. Be sure to check if there is a private event happening on the day you want to visit because sometimes they shut down for different reasons. The place didn't look busy from the outside but once we got inside it was a popular attraction, especially on the court with balls flying everywhere - enter at your own risk! Haha! But we had a blast learning all about the history of basketball! It's like a museum on 3 floors with interactive games and experiences! Definitely worth the visit if you love basketball!
Amazing place. I believe there have been some changes since I was there last, but they could only make the center better than ever. Spent a few hours here soaking it all in. If you are a basketball fan, you need to go.

TOP 3 SPRINGFIELD MUSEUMS REVIEWS
What a delightful, intelligent, bucolic location. I can't recommend enough, coming here as an individual, a family or a larger tour group, there is something for everyone of every age and of every interest. You could take a day or two or three to try to see everything. It all depends on you and what's your goal is. Some of the exhibits are Hands-On and you could spend an hour or two without even leaving a single room. Or you can stroll through the galleries and enjoy wonderful artworks. Take a walk down history Lane, bring the children go see some natural history and learn about New England Woods, or the dinosaurs, are the great flying machines. No trip for the young and old would be complete without visiting the great Dr. Seuss area. For the Young and the young at heart create new memories or bring up old memories that you will enjoy their wonderful place to be. they have a nice cafe can be located in the center of all the activities along with a wonderful outdoor Central Park which feature some Dr. Seuss bronze statues as well. Easy access handicap friendly in many places. Well worth the price of admission. If my review helped you please give it a thumbs up. Enjoy your visit.
Excellent place to take the family. Several different museums in one area to explore. I would say kids would enjoy the Dr Seuss museum most. It literally takes you into the world of Dr Seuss.
Fantastic set of museums full of great local history. The Dr suess museum was our highlight with lots for a toddler to do. A very well priced gift shop as well. Definitely worth the hour and a half drive.

TOP 3 THE ZOO IN FOREST PARK & EDUCATION CENTER REVIEWS
Love the Forest Park zoo! A good amount of animals to see, and just a pleasant stoll thru makes for a great day. There is a gift shop in the zoo. You can feed the goats and mules if you buy some food at the entrance. Afterwards there's a kids spot with slides and settings just outside the zoo. Farther down the road is a foodstand with ice cream and such. Parking is plentiful. Overall a great place to bring the kids!
So much fun! We love that Forest Park held this event for the kids (and grown-ups) to enjoy the Easter weekend. The weather was chilly, but there were enough animals out at the zoo that the kids were in awe every time we moved from one enclosure to another. Definitely look for other events throughout the year.
Always so much fun!!!!! No matter how young or how old you are!!! Lots a animals to see and they're very curious. Super clean place and educated staff!
