This is one of our nicest parks Lee County has to offer. It's dog friendly, which is great!!! To use the doggy park you will need to register and pay a minimal fee yearly. Tho, you can walk your dog on a leash on the walking, running, jogging, bicycling path. It has a small trail to hike, but dogs are not allowed on the trail. This park is one the most maintained and cleanest parks I've been to. It offers doggy bags in many locations. I personally walk this park and think it's one of the safest. We need more parks like this one! It has become my refuge when I need to breathe. Go enjoy the outdoors, but make sure to bring sunscreen and bug spray!!
Rotary Park is an asset to the City of Cape Coral. The park is expansive and quiet. Many walking trails snake through the outskirts of the park. There is an observation tower with fantastic views. There is a butterfly garden available for tours on limited days. Plus don't miss the iguana who resides near the entrance to the park.
Beautiful family friendly park with picnic and grill amenities, a great playground, a little butterfly garden (look up opening hours ahead of time) with a fish and amphibian show room and last but not least these beautiful small hiking trails to a lookout - our kids (2 and 4) loved it!
