DoubleTree Suites by Hilton Hotel McAllen

I was in McAllen for business and chose the Doubletree for my stay. I stayed for two nights. The hotel is a former Embassy Suites and was nicely decorated and it’s very inviting. I was greeted upon entry by Marco who also checked in via text to see if everything in my room was okay. And it was. The rooms were clean and smelled clean. My coworker and I dined in the restaurant and the food was great! There is a bar but there is no happy hour. Not a deal breaker at all. Breakfast is a buffet and you can charge it to your room or choose a rate that includes breakfast. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and I recommend staying here and will definitely be back!

Always clean and always something going on. Great food and drink. This time at check in had an employee “Emilia,” check me in, for once someone who could hold a conversation and actually make me laugh and relate. Not the typical robot of what’s your name, here’s your room have a nice stay. She represented her business well and professional. Management material!

The staff is friendly and helpful. I enjoy all the amenities the hotel offers. It has an indoor pool, hot tub, and exercise room. The breakfast has a good selection including fresh fruits, pastries, eggs, and bacon. I will be here again!
