Wonderful local place. Glad I looked it up on Google. Thought it had closed down years ago when my sons went to college in Athens. They had just moved. Great friendly owner and service. Food was delicious and plentiful. Highly recommend!

Taste is so tasty! Amazing fragrant spice treatment, and so diverse across dishes. They have a vegan chutney that has such a fresh effect! Bonus: a full vegan menu. Ambience is spectacular with an outdoor patio under the trees. Excellent attentive service.

So happy to find out his gem. Tasty and quick. Have gluten free options. Had chicken Korma which was very creamy and well balanced. The chicken was very tender. Will come back.

First time customer — and will return! This place reminds me of Chipotle in terms of customizing your order in front of you, but the options are all South Asian. I always go for lamb curry, and this was pretty good — with a slight kick! I saw rose lassi and had to order it. Not many places have it! Service was kind and quick. Signed up for their rewards program. Free parking at Prince Market.

This place is awesome. The flavors are amazing and the folks there are so kind. So happy to have this in town!!! The vindaloo was a great spice level but not outrageous. Can’t wait to figure out how to eat here all the time!

delicious & convenient. large portions for a decent price, and you get to try a lot of stuff even when you get a singular item. everyone who works there has been nothing but lovely both times i went.

My friends and I had an incredible experience at Mitti last weekend. We enjoyed authentic South Indian food, and everything was absolutely delicious. The Peshawari naan was unmatched – I’ve never had such tasty naan before. We loved the vada, dosa, sambar, and many other dishes! The location and ambiance are fantastic! There’s an Asian grocery store right next door, perfect for some quick shopping after your meal. I can’t wait to visit again. Go treat yourself to the delicious food!

This restaurant serves the best South Indian food I've ever tasted! We tried their Mysore masala dosa, Masala dosa, plain Idli, Ghee podi Idli, vada and Indian Coffee. Every bite reminded me of the authentic flavors of India, from crispy dosas to flavorful sambar, everything is utterly delicious. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming. If you're looking for amazing indian food and exceptional service, this is the place to go!

You can dine in, but it's a crowded space with plastic cutlery. For takeout, though it is amazing. Best place for Indian food in Athens, possibly the best place for Indian food in NE Georgia.
