3 Best Indian Restaurants in Overland Park, KS

THIS WAS AMAZINGGGGGGGG AMAZEBALLS EVEN!!!!!! Normally, I’m not the biggest fan of Indian restaurants around here, but I could not stop eating!!! The food was beautiful, tasted great, and was generally just so good. The curry was flavorful and creamy, but not overpowering at all. Everything came together so well, and the rice complimented all the foods superbly. This is even without mentioning the quality of service and interior decoration. When I went into the restaurant, the decoration was BEAUTIFUL!!!! It seemed very high end, and the staff were quick to welcome and seat us. On top of that, they were very friendly and accommodating. One of the staff even gave us fun facts about a fish we ordered, talking about its quality and health benefits. Overall, a very hospitable and comfortable atmosphere. Personally, I also thought the music was beautiful. Like genuine fire. Finally, when we checked out, the price wasn’t too high at all. Especially not for the quality of food and service given. All in all, the food was extremely delicious, the interior was very comfortable, and the staff were super nice. Absolutely worth every cent. 10/10.

We come from town where there aren't many choices of Indian restaurant. We drove 5 hours just for Indian foods in this area. This restaurant was one of the places we wanted to visit. The food was good. The service was extremely fast. The south Indian woman working was very swift in walking and doing everything. The hairy south Indian guy (owner) Was very fast in providing service too. So her and him are the only two people working the floor and there were 7 tables that came right after us. All of the people got their orders taken fast and food was served fast. We are going some place else tomorrow for lunch and dinner but this place was good.

I come here quite frequently, I would say at least 3 or 4 times a month. The food just keeps getting better and better. The chili chicken never lets me down. I am an adventurous person when it comes to trying new things and I’ve scoured a good chunk of the menu and have loved a lot of it. Prabhu is always here and makes sure I’m happy with the whole experience start to finish.

This is IT!! Wow!! Reddit said this was the best Indian food in KC. We were NOT disappointed!!! The staff here is amazing! They are SO friendly and kind. They showered us with attention and little treats. My wife and I ordered the mint naan and she got the tandoori chicken which she enjoyed very much. I got the Chicken Goa Curry at the suggestion of the owner. She was very right. It was magnificent!! This is a small family place in OP. Everyone was working on this July evening: Mom, Dad, daughter, sons…so cool. My wife is normally very sensitive to spice. She ordered hers mild and even had a few bites of my medium dish. It didn’t hurt her. The mango lassi was a nice touch. Rice pudding too. We can’t wait to return! What a GEM this place is. Just GO.

We’ve been so bummed about the lack of restaurant diversity since moving to the Kansas City area - until someone recommended we check out Korma Sutra. This has been one of our most favorite dining experiences. The food is incredible and the service is outstanding. Our servers were so kind and hilarious. They were constantly pushing for us to try new dishes, to the point of dropping random plates of food at our table, and we even got some chai to-go. This is one of our new favorites and we can’t wait to come back for more.

Amazing experience, wanted to try something new for lunch. They treat you amazing, and I promise you won't leave hungry! Very much will come back again.
