“Asakusa has been serving the community for almost twenty five years. The chef has the magical experience of presenting delicious food, and the waiter is impressive in serving the dish perfectly. The restaurant atmosphere is very inviting and natural. They provide recipes using the freshest fish, poultry, and vegetables to create the best-tasting foods. Reservations are available. They are such a beautiful place for kids and groups to eat food with semi-private seating. They also have a kids' menu for little customers. TAKAOKA OF JAPAN REVIEWS

We have been coming to Takaoka for about 5 birthdays a year every year for about 15 years now and everytime the food is amazing and the atmosphere is great. As someone who has been there many times, we have heard every joke from every chef there. Recently we have had the chef Mark and we have not laughed so hard in years. We went tonight and we were excited when we saw that he was going to be out chef.

We celebrated some birthdays at Takaoka of Japan. The staff and service were incredible! Chef was outstanding and our server was always refilling our drinks. We never had to ask for a refill. We will definitely be revisiting. I highly recommend this for any visitors of Fort Wayne, Indiana.

Always amazing! Everything we've had has been fantastic. This time we had the Hibachi Steak, the Snake River Farms Kobe Ribeye, and an extra shrimp appetizer. Also recommend the Pineapple Whip or Blue Long Island to drink.

ASAKUSA REVIEWS

Asakusa Sushi is hands down among the best and most consistent in Fort Wayne. At this point, I’ve dined in and had great experiences, and carried out enough times that the staff remembers what I have ordered. The environment is lively and comfortable, and you really can’t beat the price for the quality you consistently receive. My wife and I have made Asakusa the place we order out from the most often, and see ourselves continuing to do so for a long time to come. Excellent restaurant.

I love the cozy atmosphere and the staff treats us very, very well! We had an excellent server that answered all of our questions. I got the salmon teriyaki and it was the best I've ever had! Large piece of fish, lots of mushrooms, great fried rice and the sauce was AMAZING . You get a choice of soup - clear and miso. Their sushi is amazing!

Delicious food. Friendly and accommodating service. My husband and I spent $60 for dinner and had a really nice time. We will definitely be coming back.

KOTO JAPANESE STEAKHOUSE REVIEWS

I’ve been a few times and my food was always good, I asked the one of the people about the restaurant and they say they prepare everything in the morning so everything is fresh and I can definitely taste it in the hibachi vegetables, our server was very nice too and very attentive and had a smile on her face. I’ve also tried the sushi her and it’s taste so fresh and looks well made, would recommend to anyone who wanted either hibachi or sushi.

We came for a birthday lunch and had the Teppanyaki area to ourselves. Our cook was Mark and he was very entertaining. The food was very good and the experience exactly what we were seeking. Thank you Mark & Koto for making my husband’s Birthday celebration one to remember.

By far one of the experience I've had here in Fort Wayne. The chef was excellent and so was the food. Fun for the whole family.
