We have had several birthdays here and I am always pleased with how easy it is to make a reservation. Like most places the entire party must be present in order to be seated. However, even though three people from my party were running late, they allowed us to be seated because we agreed to put in their orders. So simple and accommodating!

Great place to take your family to go eat or celebrations. The staff are amazing, friendly, and welcoming. The chefs are great and knowledgeable. The price is reasonable. Great food, location, and good service. Sushi is also great here.

The food is really good my fave is the scallops, filled mignon, and the garlic fried rice! The salad is amazing as well love the dressing. The soup is really good as well.

When you walk in there's a line to the counter. You place your order and pay before you sit down to eat, it's a little unorthodox but it works. My wife and I orderer the 50/50 roll and the i-scream roll, both were amazing!! Sushi is one of those things where it's either great or it's not, happy to say we lucked out finding this place since we're not from Stockton. Would not pass up ShoMi if you're in the area.

The ahi tuna salad has just the right amount of dressing, and the sesame seeds on the tuna was a pleasant addition. Our waitress was friendly, and it was nice to see the restaurant fill up as lunch began.

It was my first time here and the sushi was delicious. The portion was good for the price. I wish the curry had some meat though. But overall I had a great experience dining in with my family.

DOMO JAPANESE SUSHI GRILL AND BAR REVIEWS

This has always been our favorite spot to celebrate birthdays! While the quality of the food can vary depending on who’s cooking at your table, even the less impressive meals are still delicious. One downside, though, is sharing a table with families who split a single meal between two or even three people. Since portions are evenly distributed, it can mean smaller servings for everyone else at the table, which can be a bit disappointing.

Took my kids here for their Birthday and they had the BEST time! The Chef put on a great show for them and was very interactive. The food was amazing, even my picky eaters ate a bit of everything. My favorites were the shrimp and garlic fried rice. At the end they brought the kids huge sundaes.

Today we celebrated my Hubbys 46th birthday and received excellent service. The filet mignon teriyaki steak was so tender and absolutely delicious. My hubby enjoyed the ceviche rolls and the jalapeno poppers where great with a spicy kick. I love the fact that it’s imitation crab which has such wonderful flavor!
