Service was top notch. My waiter was attentive and kept checking in on me. The sushi was fresh and perfect. I also had the steak teriyaki. It was a little overcooked but still great flavor. Definitely a place to check out, especially for the sushi.

Uni's is great, good staff and amazing food. Best sushi in Surprise, hands down! The prices are good too, especially if you go during happy hour. I usually get the shrimp tempura roll, veggie roll, spicy crab roll, California roll or the dragon roll. I have also had the teriyaki chicken, honestly everything I have had is good.

I took my mother-in-law, wife, and girlfriend to celebrate a special occasion, and from the moment we walked in, we knew we'd made the right choice. The restaurant had just opened for the day, so we enjoyed a calm, quiet atmosphere — perfect for catching up and enjoying the experience. The tables were spotless and well-set, immediately giving off a welcoming vibe. The service was outstanding. Drinks were delivered promptly after we were seated, and our server took the time to walk us through the menu with care. Everything moved efficiently, yet never felt rushed. Then came the star of the evening: Jorge, our tepanyaki chef. He was absolutely phenomenal! Not only did he cook a delicious meal for each of us, but he also put on an impressive show — flipping, sizzling, and entertaining us throughout the entire meal. It elevated the dinner from a meal to a memorable experience. Jorge clearly takes pride in his craft, and it showed. The food itself was tasty and well-prepared. If I have one small suggestion, it would be to add noodles to the menu — that would be the icing on the cake for this tepanyaki lover! But even without that, the flavors were solid. Bottom line: Sakura Tepanyaki is a fantastic choice for a family dinner or special occasion. The combination of skilled cooking, friendly service, and an engaging show makes it well worth a visit. We'll definitely be back.

Overall a great experience. They were able to quickly sit us and had amazing waiters/waitresses. The food was great and the chef was fun and didn’t take us away from our conversations. Sake was warm but not my favorite, wish I knew that but still was good. Great for dates and family nights out.

This is my family's go-to spots for good service and great food. Thr staff is always very welcoming, the service is always on point and the food is always fresh and delicious. The facility is always maintained well including the bathroom facilities. Whether you want a booth, table, bar seating or the tepanyaki experience it's always a great experience with great dishes here.
