Six-star eligible! Kevin, the proprietor-chef, is a culinary genius and perfectionist! The staff members he hires, trains and retains -- even among the youngest -- carry out his vision of meticulous, intuitively attentive excellence! The attached is an unedited photo I took of the freshly delivered chutoro, not commonly seen in Stateside Japanese restaurants. Positively amazing dinner experience!
Felt like some sashimi after a long day of work and happen to see it close by my hotel, so I stopped by and ordered the sashimi meal to go. Sashimi was very good but was a bit disappointed with the miso soup. It looked like it was a mini size portion. Still, good tasting.
Great selection of sashimi and rolls. Fresh seafood and attentive service. None of the “overloaded doused in sauce” run of the mill options. Food tasted authentic and clean. Will go back here again for a meal next time im in Norfolk.
