Garland Landmark Museum is dedicated to preserving, exhibiting, and interpreting the unique heritage of its community's historical elements. Their collection spans several decades, with a particular focus on the period between 1850 and the present day. Their primary objective is to educate and entertain the public with all historical artifacts and documents donated and maintained by the society. Currently, they are developing three quadrants, which will feature walking trails complete with signs describing the history of Garland. Garland Landmark Museum operates without an annual operating budget provided by the city, and they offer 24/7 online access to an expanding menu of local history postings.

GARLAND LANDMARK MUSEUM REVIEWS
We were pleasantly surprised how much there was to see. The building is historic along with all the interesting displays. We recommend to anyone to visit. A very impressive one on Garland history and the railroads.
Emily was so sweet and showed my wild boys and I around. She explained things really well and was super friendly. We enjoy your time there.
Fun and interesting. Scavenger hunt was fun, workers were nice and engaging.

SOUTH GARLAND BRANCH LIBRARY REVIEWS
Great place to look for books. Although they need someone to update their electronic signs in front. Same message on it for months. Update: Manager is very friendly and helpful. Update 2: I signed up for a class called Pollinator gardening. About 45 people in attendance, learned info about attracting bees, butterflies and hummingbirds to the garden. Got a blue sage to plant!
Been coming here since 2016 when I was in High school and still come here to check out books or study. Best place for studying if you ever need a quiet place for it.
Always awesome! I love the curbside service. It allows me to be independent since I am disabled. These website is very easy to use.
