Garland Landmark Museum is a quaint museum in a historic Santa Fe railway depot dedicated to the local history and cultural heritage. It was opened when the old depot was declared a historic landmark in 1974. Garland Landmark Museum contains artifacts from early settlers, old newspapers, farm tools, and quilts. Its collection, representing decades of diligent solicitation effort, focuses on the period between 1850 and the present. Here, volunteers plan and work on projects, including displays and the fundraising required to implement them. The staffs in the museum are friendly and informative.

Gentle Zoo is a 501(c)(3) licensed non-profit organization located in Forney, TX. It was developed with the mission to rescue, care for, educate and connect. Their experienced team has more than a decade of experience working with a wide range of animals in zoos and the entertainment industry and working with children in the classroom. Gentle Zoo host many events throughout the year. Visitors can also enjoy seasonal events like pumpkin patches and holiday magic. The Curtis Culwell Center is a beautiful state-of-the-art multi-purpose conference center in Garland, TX. It was inaugurated in 2005. The Curtis Culwell Center, boasting over 190,000 square feet of space, welcomes district and community events. The Curtis Culwell Center was designed by HKS, Inc. and built by Lee Lewis Construction with engineering by Walter P. Moore, Blum Consulting Engineers, and RLK Engineers Inc. at $31.5 million. Event planners and guests to this center are welcomed to this elegant new facility designed with the end-user in mind. The Curtis Culwell Center provides flexible space with a full conference center and arena that allows for most of any event. It brings together more than 700,000 people a year to enjoy events.
