Volunteer Sarah guided us through everything & made us feel so welcome! This small museum is PACKED with cool stuff! The kids got to "use" a typewriter, rotary phones, & a telegraph. I was treated to beautiful bltakeaway booklets to walk some of the local cemetaries. The coolest part: today I heard a record on a hand cranked Victrola. It was a solid day. Great resource.
Really neat museum to learn about the history of Garland, Texas. I enjoyed the second floor that has the history of the cotton, Kraft Foods building, and the old Garland newspapers. The museum is inside an old train station.
This is a good place where historical relics are well preserved. Also, the guide's explanation was perfect, and they were so kind. Thank you!

TOP 3 CURTIS CULWELL CENTER REVIEWS
Had some much fun going to my first AEW event this past Wednesday the building layout is really good and the view is the best. I found my seat real easy and the staff was really helpful. I will be back If AEW wrestling comes again. AEW is the Best Wrestling company right now and it was worth the hard earned money I've worked for!
I recently attended two events here: a circus and musical presentation by all grades in the GISD. The visibility was great in both cases. They have clean bathroom facilities in several locations and the concession stands are good.
Best place to have a concert. Much better than the Toyota center. Sonu Nigam sounded amazing. Loved the easy check in and check out process. Will be attending a ton of more events here.

TOP 3 THE GENTLE ZOO REVIEWS
My family and I had a really great time during spring break going to this place! There were plenty of animals to feed outside and many more to look at. My daughter loved getting to pet the bunny rabbit in the gift shop area. There is a tractor ride for relaxing and a decent sized play area and giant bounce mat thing so plenty of things to do. We have been several other times in the past and it's always been a wonderful experience and good way to spend some time out. The staff here has always been very kind and courteous to us over the years. I would recommend this place to anyone who has kids or just wants a nice relaxing time out and are animal lovers.
This was a nice family event. I have young kids and thought they would enjoy it. They loved looking at the animals and that they could pet some of them. The enjoyed the laughing as well. We went early before it got too hot and it was perfect. They do allow outside food and drinks as well.
Went for a toddler birthday party was perfect. animals are friendly love to be fed. lots of things for kids. sand pit was great
