Garland Landmark Museum is a quaint museum in a historic Santa Fe railway depot dedicated to the local history and cultural heritage. It was opened when the old depot was declared a historic landmark in 1974. Garland Landmark Museum contains artifacts from early settlers, old newspapers, farm tools, and quilts. Its collection, representing decades of diligent solicitation effort, focuses on the period between 1850 and the present. Here, volunteers plan and work on projects, including displays and the fundraising required to implement them. The staffs in the museum are friendly and informative.

Their experienced team has more than a decade of experience working with a wide range of animals in zoos and the entertainment industry and working with children in the classroom. Gentle Zoo host many events throughout the year. Visitors can also enjoy seasonal events like pumpkin patches and holiday magic.
