The Curtis Culwell Center is a beautiful state-of-the-art multi-purpose conference center in Garland, TX. It inaugurated in 2005 and was designed by HKS, Inc., and built by Lee Lewis Construction with engineering by Walter P. Moore, Blum Consulting Engineers, and RLK Engineers Inc. at the cost of $31.5 million. Owned by the Garland Independent School District, the center was built to conduct graduations and other school district events while offering a first-class facility to the community of Garland that hosts a variety of events and has a significant economic impact on the region. Event planners and guests to this center are welcomed with open arms to this elegant new facility designed with the end-user in mind. They offer flexible space with a full conference center and arena that allows for most of any event you can imagine.

Garland Landmark Museum is a quaint museum in a historic Santa Fe railway depot dedicated to the local history & cultural heritage. The museum is located in a former Santa Fe depot. Garland Landmark Museum contains artifacts from early settlers, old newspapers, farm tools, and quilts. The museum opened when the old depot was declared a historic landmark in 1974. Here volunteers are planning and working on projects, including displays, as well as the fundraising required to implement them. Garland Landmark Museum's collection, representing decades of diligent solicitation effort, focuses on the period between 1850 and the present.
