"Windsurf Bay Park is a 42-acre public park that offers a relaxed play area, a grill, a half-court basketball setup, various sports courts, a sand volleyball court, and soccer fields. Moreover, it features outdoor fitness equipment and designated spaces for hosting outdoor gatherings. 2026 Update: Windsurf Bay Park visitors can use a sand volleyball court, a half-court for basketball, and a small playground. There is a pavilion with a grill that can hold about 25 people for small gatherings. Their courts are free to use; guests are expected to bring their own balls for basketball and volleyball. This park is designed for relaxation, and guests are encouraged to bring blankets to sit on the grass by the lake."

WINDSURF BAY PARK REVIEWS

This lake is one of the reasons I live in Garland, Texas! It is a world class place like no other! There are activities for all types and all ages. It is a marvel and so easily accesible. Great facilities as well as picnic areas! Great view from any angle and you can actually bring your own surfing equipment! Fun, fun, fun!

My kids are easy to please and love this location to wade and swim in the water for FREE. They play with the sand and enjoy the waves from boats and jet skis. Great place for a family cookout! They have a lot of mature trees for good shade, a well covered gazebo and a park that’s partially shaded.

Sometimes they cut access completely off,if they feel like we are litter bugs so pick your and everyone else's garbage up,so we can see those beautiful sunsets!

HOLFORD PARK REVIEWS

This is a great park if you're looking for a nice jog, run, walk, what ever it is that you're into. The trail is approximately .9 of a mile, the trail is the concrete side walk.They do have a kids area with slides, swings etc... basketball courts, 2 baseball fields, and a few soccer/football fields.

Great park! Fields are in good condition. There are plenty of open areas for kids and pets to run around.

Nice facilities....clean restrooms. Someone is typically always in office whenever I've gone there. Nice playground and sports areas.

Awesome park with plenty to explore:: tennis/ sand volleyball courts, football/baseball fields picnic tables, shade trees, open green space, dog park, & playground. No walking trail that I am aware of, so you'll cross through grass to reach each area. * PLAYGROUND: One of the best in the area! Gated off from the rest of the expansive park, to keep your little ones from wandering. Inclusive in design: Accessible swings & play structures for a range of ages & abilities. Ground surface is poured rubber so its easy to maneuver entire play area! Concrete wheelchair ramps & stairs help access top of play structure. Lots to enjoy & explore! Have fun outside!!

Love this park! Peaceful and fun! The playground is great for kids, a lot of great slides and climbing stuff. Love the swings, great for kids and adults. There's a lot of engaging and sensory features at this park, love that!!

This park has everything! Tennis, volleyball, basketball, football, baseball, a dog park, a huge children's playground, and a recreation center with even more amenities. There is plenty of shade, water fountains, and restrooms.
