Here’s The Deal:
Burrage Mansion is featured in modern architectural textbooks as an exemplar of Mission Revival fashion, with its “H”-shaped footprint, red tile roof, arched doorways, stucco exterior, and bell towers. The Mansion was designed by architect Charles Brigham, who also designed the Burrage residence in Boston and the Boston Museum of Fine Arts. The Mansion is a sanctuary dedicated to the well-being and joy of children in need. It is offered as a venue for local nonprofits that serve young kids or contribute to historic preservation. The lovely grounds and buildings serve as a sanctuary and play and enrichment activities for disadvantaged Redlands kids.
