MISSION SAN LUIS REY REVIEWS

I specifically went to Oceanside to see this Mission and a museum downtown. I also purposely chose to go on a Wednesday at 10 AM, when they opened, to avoid crowds... it was perfect. The Mission did not disappoint. Beautifully kept, my friend and I came in August and paid the adult entry fee of $8., plenty of parking. It was fairly hot day, little to no shade unless you are inside, so be prepared. We did the Self-Guided Tour throughout the whole property inside and out, all 11 points of interest. I loved seeing the oldest Peruvian Pepper tree. A little disappointed that you could not walk through the beautiful gardens and see the pepper tree up close. There was a gentleman walking the grounds to help direct and and to answer any question you had. He was truly a book of information on the history of the entire place. This mission in Oceanside is definitely worth visiting.

Surprised my mom for a mom and daughter night out. The candlelight concert was held at the San Luis Rey mission in Oceanside,CA and was completely mesmerizing! The Range string quartet are breath taking perfection and we just savored every moment. I wish there was a printed program to have as a trinket to a special night. We are hooked for sure and can't wait for the next one!!

Beautiful Church with so much History. There is also a nice gift shop along with a peaceful garden area to sit and have a cup of coffee or tea.

CITY OF OCEANSIDE REVIEWS

A little hard to find but follow the signs and you should be fine. Don't know about day meetings but night meetings has plenty of parking; 3 levels underground and going up has 1 but most like 2 level of parking. The outside architecture and the water feature is a beautiful piece of art. Try visiting while you are in a happy mood rather then being there needing a ticket paid, trying to get a code positive, and getting an all ok, proceed to go. Most of all, I haven't found one person yet that has been rude or unkind. The world not just Oceanside need to give more kindness as well as get some!

Best place in California to go for a mattress. Didn't rush me or push me into anything. Let me decide for myself what I needed. Great on prices and super super friendly. Will definitely go to this shop anytime I need a new Mattress, box spring or frame.

Fair, fast, affordable! He listened to what I was looking for, not pushing a personal agenda. I got a great mattress at a great price. I will be coming back for future business.

HERITAGE PARK VILLAGE MUSEUM REVIEWS

The buildings at Heritage Park were closed when we visited. We didn't read all of the information. But we were able to walk around and look. If you are into California history, you will like the park. There are old timey buildings and artifacts. As we walked, we happened upon a opened door. There were two guys inside working on replicas of trains, and the communities that depended on them. There were mountains, tunnels, towns and industrial structures. The guys talked with us a while. One guy was all business and the other one had some jokes. There is parking inside and a small lot outside. There isn't street parking, at least , none that we could see. It is free to visit.

A beautiful park for a wedding. The gazebo was a magical place for a first dance. John John was very helpful and an excellent spokesperson for the property. Natalie was a great bonus.

Im glad I found this model train club now I can start running all of my ho scale model trains after training on there layout is complete. It's also very peaceful great place to visit.
