CALIFORNIA SURF MUSEUM REVIEWS
Absolutely amazing museum! As a beginner surfer, I found the “science of surfing” exhibit super educational and helpful. The whole museum is very informative and interesting and I was definitely impressed. In addition, the staff were awesome and super helpful. I really enjoyed my entire experience here!
We were in town visiting from the desert and had heard about the museum. So glad we stopped in. This place is a treasure. Kind and knowledgeable staff. Great exhibits for all age and skill levels. Highly recommend a visit. Grateful this museum exists. Can’t wait to return.
This museum is a thoughtfully curated look at the history, science, and art of surfing. I found it amazingly informative and stirring. The staff are all surfers who are at once passionate about surfing and chill about the universe. This place is a must.

OCEANSIDE MUSEUM OF ART REVIEWS
The Oceanside museum of Art is one of the gems of Oceanside. During my visit there was an exhibit by the artist James Hubbell as well as an exhibit of watercolor paintings. They also have a very nice museum gift shop. I highly recommend the place.
Highly recommend going to first Sunday of the month so you can get in free, with just an area code. Wonderful art. This time is was a bit empty in the main lobby but a lot to see upstairs and to the left. They are always changing the art series' too. Great place to visit but just for a quick 20 minute stop.
Beautiful gallery with impactful pieces and something for everyone. The colored pencils with paper table toppers are perfect for encouraging budding artists! Highly recommended.

ANTIQUE GAS & STEAM ENGINE MUSEUM REVIEWS
This is the coolest thing around, and that's saying something... this is San Diego! I'd suggest attending any of their festivals- you will be amazed when you see them operating these steam and gas powered antiques. Some of the machines on site are one of a kind, and all of them are incredible! I believe most people operating the site are volunteers, so be cool! Come check it out - I'm sure you will love it and probably learn a lot about our history!
Amazing walk through, much larger property than pictures make it out to be. All the volunteers and employees were extremely helpful in explaining things if I had questions. Will most definitely visit again.
Awesome place everything is well kept. everyone is very nice and ready to share I can't wait till I go back there. 100% would recommend.
