The new building was merged seamlessly with the original 5,000-square-foot Irving Gill modernist building. Oceanside Museum of Art has more than 15 highly praised contemporary art exhibitions per year, and museum programming includes concerts and films. The museum strives to bring people together to explore the art and stories of Southern California artists. Oceanside Museum of Art offers free admission for children 17 and under and members.
