“Luther Burbank Home & Gardens features a greenhouse constructed by Burbank himself in 1889. The house is built in the style of Greek Revival architecture. Luther Burbank Home & Gardens is located at the intersection of Santa Rosa Avenue and Sonoma Avenue in Santa Rosa, California. The house is dedicated to the life and achievements of renowned horticulturist Luther Burbank and encompasses his former residence, gardens, greenhouse, and resting place. Visitors can take guided tours led by docents and explore gift shops, museums, and various garden areas, such as those highlighting cutting flower gardens, wildlife habitats, medicinal herbs, roses, and ornamental grasses. A group of volunteers manages the property as a demonstration garden and house museum. Here, admission is free for children under 12.”
