“Great Explorations Children's Museum is a 24,000 square-foot facility that is filled with presentations and activities to energize learning through creativity, play, and exploration. The museum is specially designed for children ten and under. The museum stimulates learning through play, creativity, and exploration. The museum was formerly housed in a warehouse-type location in Downtown St. Petersburg with similar building architecture to the P. Buckley Moss Museum and the Salvador Dalí Museum. The museum features interactive exhibits and educational programming in a hands-on learning environment. Great Explorations Children's Museum also offers an award-winning national preschool program, camps, field trips, and community outreach programs. As the nation's first children's museum to open a licensed preschool program, they are proud to stimulate curiosity and provide enrichment through a carefully curated hands-on learning environment.”
