Beautiful large park with wooden walkways though the swamp to a variety of lookout points. Friendly staff. Clean bathrooms. It would be nice if guests respected nature a bit more and used proper waste receptacles. Alligators big and small, turtles, lots of different birds, armadillo, big and small fish etc. Got lucky and saw a Rosey Spoonbill!

Beautiful nature preserve. We needed a new venue for our nature hikes so came here on a Sunday. I can't believe it took me so long to check this place out. It's $3 for adults and $1.50 for children up to age 16. Totally worth the small fee! We stopped by the aviary first since it was right by the entrance. There were a couple of gentlemen that worked there who told us a little bit about some of the birds. We got to see one of the great horned owls up close which was cool.
