Engine No.9 owner Jason Esposito was born into a family of hockey royalty. His father, Tony Esposito, and his uncle, Phil Esposito, are both in the Hockey Hall of Fame and the original members of the Tampa Bay Lightning. The indoor sports bar has a strong hockey vibe with numerous HD TVs, so you can watch your favorite plays without any trouble. All of their burgers are cooked with 8oz prime black Angus beef and a choice of side; burgers do not automatically come with toppings; if you want lettuce, onion, or tomato, please request them. My kind of place! Ferg’s is a casual indoor/outdoor establishment with a comfortable and casual atmosphere. A great place to visit in downtown St. Petersburg for those looking for food, fun, and drinks with very inviting pricing. Great experiences with all the bartenders and and the cute older man who does a little of everything…he was such a joy to talk to too! The food was delicious! I had the steak tips which were cooked to my liking perfectly and my husband has the wings which were cooked just as fine with the perfect amount of sauce. The fries! Oh those fries! Shoestring and my favorite! No powdery stuff on them to make crispy or seasoning , just good ol’ shoestring fries. Yum! The draft beer was nice and cold with choices of draft or bottles/cans. Never a moment without and empty in front of us. We will most definitely be back! Thank you all!

Great place to stop by. Today (Father's day) they had a market set up throughout Ferg's with various vendors selling various things from foods to crafts. We stayed and ate in. Staff were friendly and a good selection of foods on the menu. They had a kids menu and outside they had a decent play area for kids offering pool, giant connect 4, jenga, cornhole, foosball and a mini basketball shoot hoop thing. There was also plenty of outside seating with tv's playing sports and the ability to order food to your table using an app. Will definally come back here when in the area.

Such an awesome place with a great atmosphere. Dog Friendly! Good was good. Your order via a QR code at your seat with your phone and the service was quick. Nice to not wait for someone to ask what you want. Lots of outdoor seating. Looks like a place they just kept adding onto. It's a famous staple and recommend stopping in for a drink. Wings were good. Fries are awesome. Cold beer!

ENGINE NO.9 REVIEWS

If you’re craving the best burgers in St. Pete, look no further than Engine No. 9. This cozy spot offers an incredible selection of burgers, but keep in mind it’s not ideal for large groups—tables max out at around five, though the bar area can accommodate more. Aside from their standout burgers, the salmon with Sriracha sauce is a must-try, and the calamari fries make for an unforgettable appetizer. Everything here is fresh, flavorful, and sure to impress!

This place is a great place to hangout and enjoy there food. We had the Black flag burger and the Shrimp wedge salad. WOW the burger was one of the best I’ve ever had. The salad was amazing with great flavors and the shrimp were a good size. We love this place. It is a must go to if you are in St. Pete. Tino the manager is a top notch great guy.

Really great lunch today! Burgers were very tasty and you have to try the duck wing’s appetizer. The red wine bbq sauce on the burger was sooo good. The sauces with the duck was tasty and perfectly spiced. Will be back for sure.

COURTSIDE GRILLE REVIEWS

In the area for a weekend trip and chose Courtside as was impressed with the option of sushi as well as some cool takes on the usual sports bar dishes. There's plenty of TVs to watch various sports games. Bar service was attentive without being intrusive. Opted for the fried stuffed mushrooms, pork chops, and MVP sushi roll. Fantastic tastes! The mushrooms with a great balance of crispy and juicy. The pork chop was very meaty and the mash & gravy were deep in flavor. The sushi roll was delightful - tasted like it was freshly made, held together well so able to manipulate with my less-than-perfect chopstick technique. Also took an Italian sub to go and that was packed with meat. All in all, very impressed and would definitely return if back in the area.

Went for lunch during the week and was seated immediately. Wanted to sit in the patio, but the cigarette smell was too much, so I went back inside. Ordered the calamari appetizer and the Southwest Salad with blackened chicken. Calamari was great, crispy breading, and no chewiness. It came with a marinara sauce that had great tomato flavor. The salad greens were fresh and a combination of iceberg and mixed greens. Personally, I thought there was too much iceberg. Chicken was not flavorful at all. I'm not sure how that happens with blackening seasoning. I asked for the peanut salad dressing to be on the side, i preferred the blue cheese i asked for. I'll try something different next visit.

I've been trying to work my way through their massive menu and everything I've tried is great! Even their sushi! It's a great place to watch a big game with sound, go on a date, have a work meeting or hang out with friends. Good service. Cool bartenders. Convenient location. No wonder it has thrived for so long!
