“Warren Civic Center Library is one of the most prominent libraries in Warren, MI. The Library provides Warren residents with an up-to-date facility that will feature more computers. Warren Civic Center Library offers accommodations to individuals with disabilities upon request. The Library reopened to the public in its new quarters in February 1949, with 5,000 books on the shelves. This Library serviced the north end of the present Warren area, and the burgeoning south end was without library service. The Library Commission adopted a resolution to recommend a special election requesting the voters to approve an increase of .85 mils. There is free parking in the parking structure adjacent to City Hall as well as the streets surrounding City Hall.

“Warren Union Cemetery is a historical place in Warren, Michigan. The Cemetery is located on the north side of Chicago Road between Ryan & Mound Roads. There has been belief as to the source of the name of the Cemetery. Warren Union Cemetery believes it is because of the union of the 2 church burying grounds and not referenced to the Civil War since it was directed to as the Union Cemetery as early as 1854. The west end of the Cemetery was maintained until 1978, when the Warren Historical Society decided to adopt it as a worthwhile community project. Today Warren Union Cemetery, is the resting spot of many of the original settlers of Warren.
