“Warren Civic Center Library is one of the most prominent libraries in Warren, MI. The Library provides Warren residents with an up-to-date facility that will feature more computers. Warren Civic Center Library offers accommodations to individuals with disabilities upon request. The Library reopened to the public in its new quarters in February 1949, with 5,000 books on the shelves. This Library serviced the north end of the present Warren area, and the burgeoning south end was without library service. The Library Commission adopted a resolution to recommend a special election requesting the voters to approve an increase of .85 mils. There is free parking in the parking structure adjacent to City Hall as well as the streets surrounding City Hall.
