The museum including 2 main building the classic old and modern building, classic one in 2 floors including precious painting from over 100 years ago to the more current items on upstairs. There’re also a lot of informative equipments like touch screens and audio systems which explain the county history and story of immigrants and population. There is an exhibition of wooden art works in the next building too which is valuable, take a look at my pictures, please.
Beautiful exhibits, very knowledgeable and friendly staff. Two buildings with multiple art exibits, there is a very nice remodeled upstairs area. It is has interesting displays about the history of Santa Rosa and Sonoma County. Please support this amazing Museum, fun to bring family and friends! I have enjoyed my visits every time I have gone. It was a great activity to do on a rainy day.
The Museum of Sonoma had a lovely exhibit on wood created into musical instruments, bowls, surf boards, sculpture, boxes and more. It was an inspirational exhibit.
