General Locksmith

I had my front door deadbolt lock break last night. In the past I bought a new deadbolt at the orange big box store but it would not fit due to the smaller bore size in my old solid wood front door. I looked around on the internet and read the great reviews for General Locksmith and called them. Charlie came about an hour later, installed the right size deadbolt and cut extra keys all for $125. I am so happy that I didn't have to deal with this again! I highly recommend General Locksmith for their quick response, installing exactly what I needed and their reasonable pricing. I will use for them for any future locksmith services.

I highly recommend General Locksmith. This family run business has been in Hollywood for many years. Eli was highly knowledgeable, helpful, prompt and courteous. As he was working on replacement locks he explained that as a child in the family business his father made him disassemble and reassemble all kinds of locks so that he became highly skilled. It showed. He even identified and fixed some existing problems that had been created by an earlier locksmith. The job was done on time, for the price quoted, and it was done right. The pricing is very reasonable and there were no attempts to oversell the job into a larger project.

Great family business! Was able to take pictures of the problem lock and text them by phone to get a reasonable estimate range for the work to be done. Very prompt service and good work!
