Laurie Shoemaker is phenominal! She has helped my child in so many ways to cope with the divorce. Laurie stays current on methods of reaching children and assisting them at any age! My child loves Ms. Laurie and trusts her enough to tell her anything! Taking my child to Ms. Laurie gives me piece of mind knowing that my child is in good hands.

Laurie has been counseling my son for over a year. When you walk into her office you feel instantly at ease. Laurie has a very calming and trusting demeanor. My son feels comfortable and safe sharing his feelings with her. She genuinely cares about her clients and truly enjoys helping them.

We love Laurie. She is so loving and caring. She has been counseling my boyfriends 4 year old grandson this year has helped him tremendously. He loves going to see her and she is always there for us.

I met Linda at a workshop for licensed professional counselors and therapists. She introduced me to EMDR Therapy (Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing). I was very impressed with her specialized training and extensive knowledge of EMDR and its treatment potential for those suffering from PTSD and other trauma related disorders. I am not a client of hers, but I highly recommend getting in touch with her if you're in need of this counseling or therapy service, as there are not many LPCs qualified in this field in Alabama.

Linda helped me to search pretty fearlessly within, then step into the heart of a decades long hurt, and find my way through it to new ground. I also had an amazing EMDR experience! She is wonderful, I refer people to her who ask if I can recommend anyone. I highly recommend Linda.

Linda was a life saver for me. She was friendly, professional, and easy to work with. I cannot say enough positive things about her. She made a night and day difference in my life. I highly recommend her.
