Specialty:

Marriage Counseling Relationship Issues Reconnect with Each Other Communication Issues Resolve Conflicts Reduce Anger Arguments Withdrawal Regain Closeness Intimacy

Neil Rosenthal is in his 45th year of being a marriage and family therapist. He does not offer individual one-hour marriage counseling appointments. Instead, he conducts intensive 2-4 day retreats which are roughly equivalent to 3-6 months of normal marriage counseling appointments. The goal of a marriage retreat is to fix what’s wrong. Depending on your relationship, that may take the form of rebuilding trust, creating healthy boundaries or resolving conflicts or issues between the two of you. It may involve you learning more effective communication skills, learning more constructive ways of expressing anger or hurt, or rekindling romance. He is also teaching the two of you the skills he's using so you will be able to take them home and use them on your own. This is a private intensive only for the two of you (it’s not a group), and everything is customized to your relationship.
