ABUELO'S MEXICAN RESTAURANT ABILENE REVIEWS

The drinks were very good, but the food was incredible. We sat at the bar, our server, Danielle, was helpful and friendly. Everyone was busy cleaning up tables and serving meals. The restaurant was clean, and the bathrooms were both clean as well.

First time here, it was pretty busy and they said an hour wait but I was in, in less time then that ! (Just me tho) Beautiful restaurant, very nice and attentive servers! And food was amazing! I also had a strawberry frozen margarita, also very tasty! Will come again !.

Good Mexican food at a good price. Went there once for lunch and once for dinner…very busy both times—good sign.

Judging by the queso alone I’d give this place two star review but the menu selection is impressive and has unique offerings. Food overall was tasty. I had fish tacos and enjoyed them. Margaritas here are made with quality ingredients and give you a nice selection to choose from.

The atmosphere was great the second we walked in. Friendly staff and quick service. The margaritas were delicious, the salsa was great, the food was really good too. I’d highly recommend it if you’re in the area. The food portions aren’t massive, so you don’t leave feeling stuffed which I can appreciate.

Very friendly waitress!!! My sweetie and I got the gulf shrimp fajitas for 2! The shrimp was very tasty! This was our dinner when we stopped for the night! Amazing.

A place that makes you feel like home. You walk in the the cashier gives you a look like when you get home late and your wife is at the door all mad, and barely wants to talk to you. When they call your number the put the plate in the counter for you to figure out which ones yours, as you pick it up the cook looks at you as you better like it and eat it all. The only smile youll get is from the older lady that cleans. The food is delicious, tried it once and got hooked, would defenetly recommend it. Jokes aside service needs work, a lot of work.

I really enjoy the food at Rosa’s Café Tortilla Bakery — it’s always delicious and never disappoints! I absolutely love the beef fajitas; they’re full of flavor and cooked just right. This place is one of my go-to spots when I’m craving something tasty and satisfying.
