Ashly has been an absolutely amazing midwife! When I found out I was pregnant, I knew that I wanted to give birth outside of the hospital. I chose yellow rose after touring in my first trimester, and have been happy with the decision ever since! Ashly is very understanding with all of my non traditional decisions regarding my prenatal care and birth experience, while also offering up her own medical perspective. We did have some complications pop up during the birth which no one could have predicted- the baby was positioned wrong, had nuchal cord and nuchal hand, and got stuck on his way out, but she acted quickly and did what she needed to do to get him out safely. Although the birth did not go as I expected, I am still very happy with my care and would continue to go back for all my future pregnancies. I know for 100% that I probably would have had worse treatment and probably even a c-section if I gave birth at the hospital! She also has been available to me through text throughout my pregnancy, which an OB-gyn would never do!

The experience with Victoria was always great , I always felt welcomed, heard , understood, cared for , attended to. Unfortunately I was not able to have baby girl at the center and we ended up at the hospital. Victoria did not leave my side until baby was safely here , she advocated for me & was just the most gentle soul.

When I found out I was pregnant with our first baby, a friend of mine told me about her experience at the birthing center and I was excited about the idea of having a natural birth. Unfortunately I wasn’t able to experience that due to things out of anyone’s control. I had to be rushed to the hospital and thank God everything turned out great and we have our precious little boy. My midwife Victoria was and is a true blessing. Having her during the whole process made everything better. I only remember having her with me during delivery at the hospital and hearing her voice guiding me. That helped me more than I can express and the massage to help with the labor holy moly!!! I’m so grateful for her and we’ll definitely be coming back for our second baby and hopefully I’ll be able to experience the natural birth like I wanted thank you so much for the whole team that were always kind and helpful with all my questions and huge thanks to Victoria for literally everything!

We are so thankful we decided to have our first pregnancy/birth at nhbc. The staff is friendly and I felt cared for during each appointment, especially after my birth. They had a follow up with me around 5 days after birth to see how baby & I were doing. If you aren’t a fan of hospitals and are a low risk momma then I would highly suggest a birth center. I enjoyed the midwives. I loved how Mrs. Kathy & Jenna are experienced and have their own unique personalities and feedback. I greatly value their holistic approach to childbirth and women’s health.

This was the best birthing experience I’ve ever had! I’m a mother of three and I’ve done a natural birth for all of my children. My first child was birth in a hospital and it was not a pleasant experience. My second child was birth in a birthing center and the experience was much better than the first but still I felt that the midwives didn’t have the knowledge and experience to help me the way I needed to be helped. Now my third child was birth here at NORTH HOUSTON BIRTHING CENTER and it was the best decision I ever made! Everyone was so welcoming, kind, and caring from start to finish! I knew from the moment I arrived I was going to have a great experience! Kathy was an angel sent from above! I gave birth to my biggest baby yet but Kathy made this my easiest and best birthing experience! I gave birth September 15, to my first baby girl weighing 10lbs 2oz. So I want to show great appreciation to Kathy and everyone single lady that helped me through my birthing experience! Thank you so very much to Kathy and the whole team at North Houston Birthing Center!

IF I COULD GIVE THIS PLACE 10 STARS I WOULD! First off the place is clean, the staff are so polite. Jenna & Kathy are God sent! They are very attentive and sweet the both of them! They provide classes for everything you need to know when it comes to birthing. I was a first time mom coming here, so I was a bit nervous and skeptical. However, I’m so glad I didn’t allow those feelings to over take me! My birthing journey was so amazing! Would absolutely go to this location again for my next child. So happy I came here instead of going to the hospital. As a black woman we have a higher rate in dying in hospitals giving birth. This place was a great alternative! Instead of being in an establishment that treats you like a cash cow and doesn’t regard how you feels. I don’t trust hospitals so I’m so happy and blessed they have places like this as an alternative! I will be back God willing! I will definitely recommend every mother I know and come across to go here! Remember your body was designed to do this! You can do this, and if you decide to and are located in the Houston Texas area I recommend go to NHBC!!!

FULL CIRCLE FAMILY SERVICES REVIEWS

I initially lost hope on being able to receive a vaginal delivery after having a cesarean delivery for my first baby. We struggled trying to find doctors that will allow VBAC patients. When my husband stumbled on Full Circle Family I didn’t trust that Francis and her team would pull through for me. After getting to know them, they made us feel like family. They are extremely knowledgeable and professional. I love them! I trust and believe them. I recommend them to everyone. I had my dream water birth right in the comfort of my own home. It was the best experience ever!

Everything about Full Circle Family is wonderful. The team is caring and attentive to your needs as an expectant mother. Having had 3 hospital births previously (the last being a cesarian), finally having a midwife home birth was a life long dream come true. Frances and her team addressed all the questions and concerns my husband and I had, and delivered our beautiful daughter in our home just like we wanted. I can't say enough good things about this practice.

Frances and her team at Full Circle mean the world to my family. When we initially met Frances in 2019 we just clicked! Now, three births later, Frances is more than a midwife, she’s family. She has guided my husband and I through pregnancy, birth, and parenthood and we can’t thank her enough.
